The QUENCHER Spark Arrestor
Our 2020 Quencher upgrade provides lower more stable pressure drop throughout the operating range, without going below the critical 3/4 inch WC needed for effectiveness. This rule applies to all passive spark arrestors due to basic aerodynamics. By re-designing the deflector blades, the new Quencher models increase the safety factor to ensure 100% performance in arresting sparks and embers in all correctly installed units.
We provide complete comprehensive documentation outlining a NFPA compliant installation, operation and application. Only Quencher has the engineering personnel capable to meet the requirements of NFPA 69.

An extension of our highly acclaimed Quencher spark arrestor product line. A static device, with no moving parts. The spark trap “cell” consists of overlapping turbulation vanes in a round housing, thereby creating maximum agitation and turbulence of the air stream. Turbulence strips the oxygen (fuel) away from the spark/ember, thereby extinguishing it. The hot air envelop surrounding the spark/ember, being removed by high speed agitation immediately cools the spark/ember to the low temperature of the air stream.
Mini-QUENCHER spark arrestor (or spark trap) is designed and built specifically for spark arresting and cooling. It is not a renamed air blender or mixer.

Our Quencher Spark Arrestor can be mounted in-line with existing or new duct work, and is available in either a horizontal or vertical setup, providing the versatility to fit into any installation. Our spark arrestors requires no drop out conduit to evacuate the spark, which gives your system more flexibility.
